Insurance License Fees

Commissioner Poizner Announces 6 Percent Fee Reduction effective July 1, 2009. 

Pursuant to Section 1751.5 of the California Insurance Code, filing fees are not refundable. Applicants and licensees should take extra care when submitting filing fees after July 1, 2009 as the California Department will not be making refunds to those who pay the higher fee that was in effect prior to July 1, 2009.
