Private Passenger Automobile Insurance Report
The Private Passenger Automobile Insurance Report provides detailed information on motor vehicle and physical damage coverage.
The Data Analytics and Reporting Division collects private passenger automobile insurance data annually in two parts:
- Part I collects liability insurance data for total earned premium and exposure, number of claims, and incurred losses stratified by program and coverage.
- Part II collects physical damage insurance data for total earned premium and exposure, number of claims, and incurred losses stratified by coverage and program.
The two reports available on this Web Page are:
A. Part I Liability County Level Experience Data
The report linked below contains data on Earned Premiums, Earned Exposures, Number of Claims, and Incurred Losses from 2018 to 2022.
There are two worksheets with tables that can be manipulated with filters. The first worksheet filters the data by year, program, coverage, and county.
Please note that any increase/decrease in premiums/exposures can be attributed to a number of factors. For the purpose of this report, no assumptions are made as to why these trends have occurred.
B. Part II Physical Damage County Level Experience Data
