Commending an Employee or Reporting Employee Misconduct
IN PERSON: If you believe that the conduct of an employee was inappropriate or worth commending, you may request to speak to a supervisor at any Enforcement Branch Office. Each Office has a set of documents you can elect to complete along with the commendation/complaint forms.
ELECTRONICALLY: If you decide to file your commendation or complaint of misconduct electronically, you can send an email to: PSU@insurance.ca.gov and request the commendation or complaint forms. You can provide your information in the email.
TELEPHONICALLY: Call the local Enforcement Branch office and ask to speak to the Duty Officer or Supervisor. They can take your information over the phone or send you the appropriate forms.
MAIL: Send your commendation or complaint to the local Enforcement Branch office or mail to the California Department of Insurance Enforcement Branch, Professional Standards Unit, 2400 Del Paso Road, Suite 250, Sacramento, CA 95834.
