Notice: California accepts the NAIC electronic UCAA Applications. If filing an Expansion application or Primary application, please also submit two backup hard copies.
Effective January 1, 2015, the California Department of Insurance (CDI) will require that all Property & Casualty Rate Applications be submitted electronically through the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing (SERFF).
As of January 1, 2015, CDI will no longer accept Property & Casualty Rate Applications submitted on paper or compact disc (CD).
