COIN Investment Summit

The COIN Inaugural Investment Summit was hosted by the California Department of Insurance and the COIN Advisory Board and was held on September 17, 2014 at the Federal Reserve Building in San Francisco. Insurers, CDFIs, community organizations, and other stakeholders engaged in productive and insightful dialogue to garner feedback and suggestions on COIN's programs.

Insurer Tax Credit Awards

Diane Giampaoli, on behalf of CSAA, accepting a COIN CDFI Tax Credit Award from the Commissioner.

Neil Dennis, on behalf of Allianz Group, accepting a COIN CDFI Tax Credit Award from the Commissioner.

Steven Henry, on behalf of UnitedHealthcare, accepting a COIN CDFI Tax Credit Award from the Commissioner.

 

Diane Giampaoli, Tax Executive at California State Automobile Association (CSAA), accepts a COIN CDFI Tax Credit Award on behalf of CSAA from Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones.

Neil Dennis, Chief Investment Officer of Fireman's Fund, accepts a COIN CDFI Tax Credit Award on behalf of Allianz Group from Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones.

Steven Henry, Director of Treasury Investment Management at UnitedHealthcare, accepts a COIN CDFI Tax Credit Award, on behalf of UnitedHealthCare from Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones.

 

Insurer Leadership Awards

Michael Hickey accepting a Leadership Award from the Commissioner on behalf of MetLife for holding the most COIN Qualified Investments in 2012.

Kirk Kniss accepting a Leadership Award from the Commissioner on behalf of New York Life for the greatest percent increase in COIN qualified holdings from 2009 to 2012.

Jerry Baier accepting a Leadership Award from the Commissioner on behalf of Northwestern Mutual for holding the most High Impact COIN Qualified Investments in 2012.

 

Michael Hickey, Government Relations Counsel for MetLife, accepts a Leadership Award on behalf of MetLife for holding the most COIN qualified holdings in 2012 from Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones.

Kirk Kniss, Director and Head of West Coast Commercial Mortgage Production at New York Life, accepts a Leadership Award on behalf of New York Life for the greatest percent increase in COIN qualified holdings from 2009 to 2012 from Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones.
