How do I find what I need about licensing?
Please use this Quick Guide to answer your licensing questions and best utilize CDI's online services.
This Quick Guide is divided into four distinct sections:
- Applicant Information;
- Licensee Information;
- Other Information (Bail Agent, Insurance Adjuster, and Other License classes); and,
- Business Entity Information.
CDI posts the weekly Processing Statistics. ALL documents are processed in date order which means processed from the date your payment was cashiered. Processing time is usually one to two weeks. CDI does NOT expedite applications, renewals, or make exceptions to processing requests.
Please note that if there are background issues or a delayed fingerprint status associated with an application or a renewal, there may be a delay in the issuance of the license or renewal.
