Attention insurance producer licensees: The California Department of Insurance (CDI) has arranged with a third party vendor, Sircon Corporation's Web site, to allow resident insurance producer licensees to request a certificate of license status online and pay their fees with a credit card (VISA or MasterCard) and immediately print the Certificate of License Status.
All you need to do is use the Certificate Electronic Request Transaction CERT system to complete your request. This interactive procedure will send your certificate of license status request, fees via the Internet to the CDI. With the CERT system, you can complete your request, pay your fees, and immediately print your CERT.
Note: To print your Certificate of License Status, the applicant will need to go to our Free Document Readers website to download Adobe Acrobat's current version to print the requested Certificate(s).

The CERT system allows resident insurance producer licensees to log-on to the CDI's Web site to request and print a certificate of license status.
This process will allow for you to immediately print your Certificate (s) of License Status. With a paperless request of license status, many delays associated with the process are eliminated. The CERT system will provide you with a confirmation that the fees were paid to the CDI.
