Logo for Insurance Diversity Program The nationally-recognized Insurance Diversity Program is part of the first-ever Office of Insurance Diversity and Innovation, created by Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara in 2024. The Program advances supplier and board diversity across California’s $400 billion insurance industry for women, LGBTQ+ people, veterans, disabled veterans, people with disabilities, and people from historically underrepresented communities.
