ADVISORY - Camp Fire survivors can get insurance and disaster recovery assistance

CHICO, Calif. — The Department of Insurance Consumer Services Division along with federal and state agencies such as FEMA and Contractors State Licensing Board will meet residents affected by the Camp Fire at the Disaster Recovery Center to answer questions on coverage, offer tips to consumers, and provide information about potential scams often seen during and after a disaster. 

Commissioner Jones issued a notice to insurers to expedite claims as a result of the Camp Fire.
