Advisory - Commissioner Jones to speak at insurance forum on autonomous vehicles

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — California Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones will moderate a panel titled “The Road Ahead for Autonomous Vehicles: Risk Management and a New Ecosystem for Auto Insurance” at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and the Center for Insurance Policy and Research's Autonomous Vehicle Forum, which will feature leaders in autonomous vehicles discussing what is driving the autonomous vehicle trends and the future of autonomous mobility.

Commissioner Jones will also deliver closing remarks at the National Association of Insurance Commissioner’s Autonomous Vehicle Forum, immediately following the panel discussion.

Commissioner Jones has served in a leadership role in making sure the insurance marketplace and regulations keep pace with developing technologies that are reshaping transportation. In 2014, Jones convened a public hearing of stakeholders involved in autonomous vehicle insurance issues.
