Commissioner Jones Statement on Failure of House GOP to Repeal Obamacare
News: 2017 Press Release
"It's good news that House Republicans could not agree among themselves on how to gut the Affordable Care Act which has provided health insurance to an additional 20 million Americans. From his first day in office, when he ordered federal agencies to stop implementing the ACA, President Trump has worked to undermine the Affordable Care Act. I anticipate we will see rate increases and health insurer departures from health markets because of President Trump's actions undermining the ACA. President Trump likes to shift blame to others, but it's his actions which are undermining the ACA."
