SUBJECT:   Notice of Late Filing Fees and Penalties

Any Insurer that fails to make a timely and complete filing with the California Department of Insurance may be subject to a late filing fee pursuant to Section 924 of the California Insurance Code (CIC).

Pursuant to Section 12389(a)(4)(C)(iv) of the CIC any insurer that fails to file an annual audit on or before the applicable due date may be subject to a late penalty fee of $213.
