DETAILS:
On Monday, June 23, 2003, the U.S. Supreme Court invalidated the California law that would have required California insurers to make public European policyholders lists.

Despite this setback, State Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi and Los Angeles community Jewish leaders want to urge anyone who thinks that their relative had a Holocaust era insurance policy to file a claim with the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims prior to the
September 30, 2003 deadline.

Information and claims forms about the process are available at www.insurance.ca.gov
